Liberal Democrats - The biggest gainers in Wolverhampton

The Liberal Democrats were the biggest gainers in Wolverhampton in yesterday's General Election. In all three seats the Liberal Democrats gained more votes and an increased share of the vote.
In Wolverhampton North East the Liberal Democrats added an extra 3.8% to their share of the vote.In Wolverhampton South East the Liberal Democrats added and extra 4.2% to their share of the vote. In Wolverhampton South West the Liberal Democrats added an extra 5% to their share of the vote.

Kenneth Purchase, Labour, 17,948, 54.5% (-5.8%)
Alexandra Robson, Conservative, 9,792, 29.7% (+1.1%)
David Jack, Liberal Democrat. 3,845, 11.7% (+3.8%)
Lydia Simpson, UK Independence Party, 1,371, 4.2%
