Second Special Focus Extra on road repairs delivered in Newbridge

4.07.00pm UTC (GMT +0000) Sun 13th Aug 2006

In July a Focus Extra was delivered in Newbridge about the poor state of the road surface. Robin Lawrence told Council officials about the lack of maintenance and received promises that pot holes will be filled in. Some have now been filled in with what looks like spare tarmac from other jobs but leaving the state of the road's surface far from satisfactory.

The second Focus Extra informed residents that Robin has asked for the road and footpath to be resurfaced properly and that this job has now been included in the Council's provisional highway maintenance programme.
