Brighton Banner

Yesterday Conference saw three consultative sessions take place at Liberal Democrat Conference. The sessions were on - Climate Change, Crime, the European Union.

Today Conference will see another four consultative sessions another on Crime, Trident, inequality and poverty and the Power Commission Report. Consultative sessions form a step on the way to making policy but the discussions do not yet make party policy, all the issues that were discussed will be coming back to a future conference as a policy motion which will then create new party policy.

The Party will also discuss some internal issues such as the reports from the committees and Parliamentary Parties and also the regulations for electing the Leader and President in future.
