Sir Menzies Campbell questioning the Prime Minister

Leader of the Liberal Democrats Sir Menzies Campbell yesterday pressed Tony Blair on what action would be taken over the death of ITN journalist Terry Lloyd

Speaking at Prime Minister's Questions today he said "When may we expect the Attorney-General to make application for the extradition and trial in Britain of those American soldiers against whom there is a prima facie case for the unlawful killing in Iraq of the ITN journalist Tony Lloyd?"

He added "As recently as last night the Government assured us that the extradition treaty with the United States would facilitate justice. Isn't what we have here a fast-track process, but a fast-track process that only goes one way?"
