Zahid Shah and Cllr Lawrence will get this dumped rubbish removed

Zahid Shah, the Liberal Democrat's Focus Team leader in St Peter's Ward, asked Cllr Robin Lawrence to join him on a brief walk round the ward. Within minutes they had found plies of dumped rubbish in an area of over grown waste land. Concealed in the long grass and nettles there were piles of black bin bags full or household waste and an old carpet.

"Is this dumped TV loot from a bungled robbery?" asked Zahid Shah

Not far away there was a smashed up flat screen TV and its packaging. Zahid said "TVs like this have not been on sale for very long and are very expensive. I wonder if this is dumped loot from a bungled robbery." Zahid is now making arrangements for the area to be cleaned up.
