Tories continue to be split

The Conservative Party were plunged into further turmoil this week as former Deputy Leader Michael Ancram added fuel to the debate about the direction of the party by urging David Cameron to focus on Thatcherite values. The move follows Mr Cameron's recent comments on controlling immigration, dubbed by the Labour Party as a 'lurch to the right'. The revelations follow the resignation of the Party's Deputy Treasurer Johan Eliasch, also dissatisfied with the party's 'lurch to the right'.
