Paul Holmes MP (left) advises Robin Lawrence and Zahid Shah on housing matters

Park Cllr Robin Lawrence and St Peter's candidate Zahid Shah went to meet Paul Holmes MP, the Lib Dem spokesman on housing. They told Mr Holmes about the difficulties tenants of Wolverhampton Homes in their wards were experiencing and he was able to give them useful advice.

Both tenants and leaseholders have complained to Robin and Zahid about Wolverhampton Homes. Tenants say the repairs are not done and even rat infestation is left untreated. Leaseholders complain unfair concierge charges. Some say that it can cost up to £25 for a light bulb to be replaced in a public area which goes on their bills.
