Finchfield Road - Merridale Road Junction needs traffic lights

8.20.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 26th Feb 2008

Local Park Ward Liberal Democrats have called for traffic lights at the junction of Finchfield Road and Merridale Road.

Councillor Robin Lawrence, who has been contacted by local residents said, "A recent traffic survey in the area only dealt with speed and a camera was installed at this junction. At sometimes of the day it isn't excessive speed that is the problem - can scarcely canscarcely move at all! I shall be talking to officers in the Highways Department to sort this problem out before it get any worse."
