flooding in Spring Road

Cllr Malcolm Gwinnett risk a soaking while investigating Spring Road flodding

Recent storms have caused the road to flood outside Club Africa in Spring Road. Whenever it rains Spring Road floods right across the highway and when it rains particularly hard the water can be up to a foot deep.

Cllr Malcolm Gwinnett said, "This is both a danger to motorists and many a pedestrian has been soaked by passing traffic. Springvale's Liberal Democrat councillors are pursuing the matter with both the City Council and Severn Trent Water."
