Zahid Shah points out a rotting window frame at Whitmore House

Zahid Shah has condemned Wolverhampton Homes for their decision to shelve plans to revamp St Andrew's House and Whitmore House. These two Whitmore Reans tower blocks have been neglected and are in urgent need of attention. Other similar blocks of flats in the City have had extensive improvements in recent years but these Whitmore Reans flats have had none.

Zahid Shah said, "Among other things these properties are in need of adequate insulation and effective double glazed windows now that heating bills are going sky high. I have discovered that Wolverhampton Homes plan to divert funds promised to these block to Heath Town. No doubt Heath Town tenants also live in property that needs attention but these funds were allocated to Whitmore Reans. "
