Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats off to Conference

Seven members of Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats are today heading to the national conference in Harrogate this weekend.
The Conference will be addressed by both Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg, Shadow Chancellor Vince Cable and a host of other MPs as well as Howard Dean the Chair of the US Democrat National Committee who had a key role in electing Barack Obama as President of the USA.
The Conference will be focusing on the crucial subject of education. There will be three major policy debates on this theme:
Childcare and Early Years Education
Education Ages 5-19 (including the issues of Free Schools and Faith Schools)
Adult Further and Higher Education (including policy on University Tuition Fees)
Members attending from Wolverhampton including Park Ward Councillor Claire Darke, Penn candidate June Hemsley, Tettenhall Regis candidate Paul Fellows and Tettenhall Wightwick candidate Sarah Sinclair.
