Liz Lynne MEP urges Sikhs to vote

Liberal Democrats were in the West Park to join in with the Sikh community's annual Vaisaiki celebrations. Speaking from the platform Liz Lynne, the West Midlands Liberal Democrat MEP reminded the large crowd that the European Elections will be on June 4th and everybody should be sure to vote for one of the main parties.

There will be an number of racist candidates standing who will rely on a low turn out which is why everybody must vote. Her message was supported by other speakers including Councillor Mike Heap, leader of the Liberal Democrat Councillors on Wolverhampton City Council.

Robin Lawrence, Liberal Democrat candidate for Wolverhampton South West spent the afternoon meeting people in the Park and was warmly welcomed by everyone.
