Robin Lawrence discovers drug needles in Chapel Ash
Councillor Robin Lawrence was in Chapel Ash at the junction of Tettenhall Road and Compton Road and as he walked past the public telephone box he spotted a drugs needle on the ground. Closer inspection showed there were several more inside the phone box. He immediately contacted the appropriate Council department for urgent action.

Robin said, "Chapel Ash is a very busy part of the City and these needles were a threat to anyone passing by. Now that the hot weather is back again a person wearing open toed sandals would be at serious risk if they wanted to use that telephone.
