Mr Ross and Mr Patel of Clifford Street after their bins were not collected

Residents of Clifford Street have contact the local Liberal Democrats after become increasingly frustrated by the unreliable collection of their bin collections.

Not only were their black bins missed this Tuesday but some residents are still waiting for their green (garden waste) bins to be collected from the previous week!

Residents Mr Ross and Mr Patel contacted City Direct after the bins were not collected and were promised they would be collected within two days - still their bins were not collected and emptied.

Thanks to the assistance of Liberal Democrat campaigner Jonathan Webber, Councillor Robin Lawrence and Councillor Claire Darke they have now had their bins collected. Enterprise have also promised that the collection organisation is improved so that Clifford Street is no longer missed off the collection round.

If you are having problems with rubbish collections please contact the Liberal Democrats for assistance.
