Following that meeting Liberal Democrats have ensured that litter in Kirmond Walk was cleared up and a dirty and overgrown alleyway behind a row of houses was cleared and cleaned. Councillor Robin Lawrence and Zahid Shah have also secured promises from Wolverhampton Homes that the trees in front of the parade of shops will be crown reduced and pruned as will the trees overhanging Kirmond Walk.
Zahid Shah said "The overhanging trees on Kirmond Walk have been blocking the street lights and have therefore encouraged people to gather there. There have been many reports of anti-social behaviour taking place there too. Residents in Glentworth Gardens and the other areas of St Peters have been represented by in effective Labour Councillors for years. Many residents have contacted the Liberal Democrats pledging their support to us because we are now known as the party of action in St Peters."
