Colin Ross chosen to stand as next Liberal Democrat MP for Wolverhampton North East9.00.00am GMT Fri 12th Mar 2010
Colin Ross chosen to stand as next Liberal Democrat MP for Wolverhampton North East Wolverhampton North East Liberal Democrats have selected Colin Ross as their candidate at the General Election. Colin lives in Wolverhampton and first moved to here in 1994 as a student. Colin now works in nearby Walsall for the local authority. Colin stood in Wolverhampton South West at the last General Election, some of which is now in the Wolverhampton North East constituency due to boundary changes. Colin said "I am delighted to have been selected. It has become clear to me that people in the constituency are being under represented by the Conservatives and the Labour Government. The Liberal Democrats are the only political party with real solutions to the problems facing Britain today; it is the Liberal Democrats who are leading the way by proposing fairness in our taxation system to help get the Country back on its feet." With Labour failing us and the Tories showing their ineptitude, especially over the economy, it clear Colin and the Liberal Democrats are the only choice for change in Wolverhampton North East.
