England is looking more isolated by the day when it comes to locking voters out of fair representation.
The Welsh Parliament/Senedd has voted 39-16 to pass the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Bill - which will let councils scrap the warped winner-takes-all voting system that leaves millions ignored each election.
Councils will have the chance to move to a gold standard system - the Single Transferable Vote - that gives voters more choice, ensures their vote always counts, and delivers fairer representation.
Out of the four nations of the UK, only voters in England will now be forced to put up with warped one party states. This is a dire injustice.
Scotland, Northern Ireland and now Wales have all turned away from the rotten First Past the Post politics that leaves so many voiceless, with the majority of votes going to waste.
The Electoral Reform Society has launched a petition to give England its turn.
