Liberal Democrats in local government make life better

There is huge anger with the Conservatives, especially in blue wall seats. Traditional, decent, 'one nation' Conservative voters are turning away from them.
People are angry about access to healthcare, about cuts to police, and - of course - sewage in local rivers and on beaches. Not to mention Partygate and sleeze.
While many lifelong Conservative voters in the Blue Wall are open to voting Lib Dem for the first time, Labour's lead in national polls doesn't seem as if it will translate into actual votes.
Former Labour voters who left over Brexit and voted for Johnson in 2019 are not going back to Labour in big numbers. In fact, there are signs that people are turning to the Liberal Democrats instead. This isn't an accident. It's Liberal Democrats in local government who making life better for local people.
